Modern day Western yoga owes its roots to the ancient Indian practice of yoga and combines physical postures, breathing techniques, relaxation and meditation to promote physical and mental health.
Joseph Pilates developed what we know as ‘pilates’ in the 1920’s, focusing on building core strength and body awareness to improve postural alignment, balance and flexibility.

I am a mum to 3 amazing kids and 2 crazy dogs, wife and big sister and I see how my own health impacts on my happiness and the relationships I have with friends and family. I truly believe that good nutrition and lifestyle choices can vastly improve our mental and physical health, which is why I chose to study and qualify as a Registered Nutritionist, Pilates and Yoga Teacher.
